The province’s capital city, St. John’s, is home to the St. John’s campus, the largest and most comprehensive campus of Memorial. Also located in St. John’s is the Marine Institute, dedicated to education, training, applied research and industrial support for the ocean industries. Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, located on the west coast of the island in Corner Brook, is where Memorial offers a more intimate learning experience and special expertise in environmental and fine arts programming. Our Harlow campus in England is where many of our students find themselves studying the international components of their chosen program.

[b]On-campus[/b]: The St. John’s campus has two residences: Paton College and Burton’s Pond Apartments. Paton College consists of 10 dormitories that accommodate approximately 100 residents each. Burton’s Pond Apartments consists of four courts and offers a independent lifestyle. Annual fees for Paton College are $5,088 (10 meals per week/double room), $5,328 (14 meals per week/double room), $5,466 (19 meals per week/double room). Annual fees for Burton’s Pond Apartments are $2,958 (single room/two semesters). At Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, the 188 residence rooms are singles. Annual cost (two semesters): $2,010 (including phone/voice-mail). The chalet style apartments house 300 students. Annual cost (two semesters): $2,402.

Undergraduate: Last year, Memorial University awarded in excess of $2 million in undergraduate scholarships with more than half of that amount going to entrance scholarships. The value of individual awards ranges from $500 non-renewable to $5,000 renewable. The Memorial University Career Experience Program offers on-campus employment to approximately 2,000 students.%H GqU8q AOZH

Graduate: The School of Graduate Studies administers a combination of endowed and operating funds, which together add up to $2.75 million per year. In addition, academic units add some $3.3 million per annum for teaching and research purposes. Funded students receive packages ranging from $7,500 to $20,000.
