Even though i'm from China, Chinese was my first foreign language which makes me a minority from Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region . Throughout high school years Chinese was a foreign language for me. I went to prepatory school to learn Chinese more professionally for two years before going to university in Xi'an,China. Technically, I have more than 15 years of learning Chinese experience, but interestingly I still cannot tell differences among four tones. lol
