We, the worldwide Chinese community, requests that the members of the United Nations ban Tibet Independence movements and protests in any shape or form. These movements are against international laws and are hurting relationships between China and foreign countries.

. y n' l- j% |0 N- V( W+ V8 IThe United Nations recognize Tibet Autonomous Province as a part of the People’s Republic of China. We realize that people are allowed to express their opinions through freedom of speech. However, when such expressions are done in a systematic and organized manner, it is mutiny against China’s sovereignty.

Mutiny is considered an international offense. Any nation supports or allows such act is sending a very strong hostile signal to the Chinese community. To avoid misunderstand and international tension, I request that all members of the United Nations ban such protests and movements immediately.

1 h8 Y) j, ~- b ]! F- lThe Chinese community has always respected other nations’ sovereignty and culture. China is a multi-culture nation. We are also trying our best to improve our own country’s political, economical, sociological standards in a peaceful and systematic fashion. Any accusation against Tibet’s current state does not justify that it should be independent. All nations in the world face diffe
rent kinds of difficulties and challenges. Nations should cope to overcome these challenges, not abandon them.

The Chinese government is and will always be willing to establish friendly relationship with other nations, who could at least return the favor.
