Global Human Rights Torch Relay to arrive in Halifax May 4, 2008
/ ?+ q4 }' V8 s8 T. C8 k& l
& x6 R/ k- j7 j- RHalifax shall be the No. 110th city to relay the Human Rights Torch, on this May 4. Currently, we are looking for up to 3 girls (preferably from various origins) to dress up as the Goddess of the Human Rights Torch during the opening and closing ceremonies (we provide the dress-ups). We also look for supporters to run with the torches. Students from Burma, Dafur and Tibet: this would be an excellent opportunity for you to raise awareness of severe human rights violations currently happening in your countries and around the world.  We expect many media coverages for this event.
